In practice Yin style of Yoga is predominantly passive stretching positions and relaxation techniques. I like to bring in a few activating poses for contrast and feeling deeper release in certain stretches. In this class you’ll also extensively stretch your feet and hands as the “roots” of many connective tissue structures throughout the body, stretching these can help to soften and open up tighter places deeper in the body.
